“If you believe the good ones, you have to believe the bad ones”
- Joan Darling

Several of my plays  have been reviewed.

THE KITCHEN SINK:
“…The writing is sharp and witty and the dialogue could not have been more natural… It’s alive, organic, and hilarious. Take your friends, lovers, parents, aunts, and uncles to see these new friends in The Kitchen Sink.” - NY Theatre Review

“…more sitcom than theater… like a very special episode of Saved by the Bell: The College Years… A handful of scenes show that Gambling has an ear for male characters” – LA Weekly

SUNSHINE MACHETE:
“You should have cast a real actor” – Meghan’s dad

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM:
“Meghan Gambling’s play is neither self-consciously edgy nor annoying. It is, indeed, quite enjoyable..engaging…one thing Gambling does magnificently is create a sympathetic lead character…” – NY Theatre Review

“Just saw theater- Meghan Gambling wrote, directed Happy Birthday Mom. Really good writing, acting!!” – Jayk Gallagher via twitter/facebook

“Engaging, emotional and challenging societal norms, this modern drama will certainly get a few blushes out of you and probably more than a strip show.”
- The Happiest Medium NY blog review

wonderful premise… tepid… trite… without dramatic thrust…  the only bright spot is Rozanski… makes lemonade out of lemons” – Backstage

“It’s a good thing Happy Birthday, Mom isn’t a thriller, because the plot is divulged on the program cover…” - LA Theater Review

“It’s beautiful when you can find truth in even the most absurd situation. With shrewd storytelling and larger-than-life characters, “Happy Birthday, Mom” is not only a hilarious comedy about an incredibly awkward situation, but a very human portrayal of dysfunctional family dynamics.”- Hollywood Fringe Festival Review

…Oh my god, get over yourself.” - Jeanne Petrone, Hollywood Producer

“…wonderfully enjoyable by virtue of the smart dialogue of writer/producer/director Meghan Gambling and terrific acting by a talented cast… Gambling the director to bring it to life with brilliantly subtle execution.
- LA Theater Review

PROM: TIME OUT
“But Moving Arts lucked out with another period piece.” – Pop Up News Room, engine28.com

NAKED AND CRAZY: TRUE STORIES BY MEGHAN GAMBLING & SASCHA ALEXANDER

“… the bold and courageous way Sascha and Meghan challenged the audience to relive with them some of their life’s greatest difficulties.”Comediva.com

“Meghan recounted not just numerous rounds of rejection, from doughy pre-teens and pretentiously named coeds… her much more mature best friend, and Hollywood bigwigs alike, but also her cringe-worthy over-reactions. “Drunkie on a rampage” doesn’t begin to describe the way Meghan’s 18-year-old self tore apart a make out buddy’s dorm room, nor does awkward begin to describe the way she danced to Heart’s  ’Alone’” –

“She gets it from me.” – Meghan’s mom
